This website serves exactly zero cookies and deploys zero tracking pixels. Our applications ship without analytics SDKs, ad frameworks, or crash harvesters. Navigate and work free of surveillance.
Evidentiary and private data is processed on your own Mac, iPhone or iPad. Your files are never uploaded to be analyzed unless you turn on a feature that says so, such as Digital Evidence Vault's network transcription (off by default); the lookups some apps make send only the items their pages name.
We run no server that receives your files or watches how you use the software: architecturally, not just contractually. Two named exceptions reach our own servers: scanning a WADL label sends its link to usewadl.org, and Overwrite Elite checks getoverwrite.com for updates. When an app contacts an outside service, its page names the service.
* Some features query outside services. A few run by default: HeaderLume's sender and relay lookups (ipwho.is, rdap.org), pcapLume's geo-enrichment with Pro (GeoJS), and Digital Evidence Vault's trusted timestamps, which send a file's hash, never the file, and its capture-time query to time.apple.com. Others, like HeaderLume's VirusTotal check and pcapLume's MalwareBazaar check, run only with your own key. Each app's page names every outside connection and its default. Where an app has a Zero Telemetry switch, its page says exactly what the switch turns off; none of them stops Apple's App Store check. See the Privacy Policy for handling details.
"I have spent twenty years teaching investigators how easily digital tools betray the people who rely on them. I refuse to build another one. ProfWorkBench exists so that examiners, attorneys, and everyday users can run serious software without wondering who is watching, because no one is. We will fund this company on the quality of the work, never on your data."

Back the mission. Own the license.
Because we refuse to monetize user data, we invite the foundational support of early believers to engineer uncompromising forensic tools. A Genesis Partner License is a distinct, per-application permanent unlock: for angels who want to back the mission permanently, and for enterprise and government agencies that need to bypass recurring subscriptions entirely.
Genesis licenses are specific to a single application and do not grant access to other software in the suite. The tier is available on select applications that otherwise operate on a subscription model.
Genesis licenses are bought inside each app, through the App Store. Enterprise and agency licensing runs through the secure desk.
Universal access is non-negotiable.
Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox. It is a foundational engineering mandate. Critical forensic, privacy, and security tools must be fully usable by every investigator, scholar, and analyst, regardless of physical or cognitive ability. Every utility in the suite is built against Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and the nine features below are the bar we test each one against. Support differs by app: an app's page and its App Store accessibility listing state only what we have verified for that app.
Complete localized screen-reader support, including phonetic overrides for technical terms: SHA-256, UUID, PKI, NIST, ASN.1.
Full hands-free dictation and navigation; accessibility elements match visible labels and semantic hierarchy.
Dynamic Type throughout; layouts scale past 200% without clipping. Touch targets never drop below 44×44 pt.
Dynamic light/dark adaptation with semantic palettes that recalculate surface contrast automatically.
Information is never conveyed by color alone; every state pairs icons, labels, and shape indicators.
Audited ratios exceed WCAG 2.1 AA, and intensity adapts when the system toggles Increase Contrast.
System motion-reduction disables sliding transitions, parallax, and continuous visual shifts.
Caption overlays for recorded audio, case notes, and media playback in the apps that handle them.
VoiceOver transcription of decibel metering, audio capture levels, and media state transitions where applicable.
Verified, not assumed. We list an accessibility feature for an app only after checking it in that app, so the lists differ from app to app. Captions and audio descriptions apply only to apps that play recorded media, and no current app claims them yet. Feedback on any accessibility feature reaches the engineering team directly through the secure desk.
Serves zero cookies, zero pixels and zero tracking scripts; the contact form's spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on that form only. There is no analytics platform behind this page, not even a "privacy-friendly" one. Server logs are the minimum required to operate, nothing is ever sold, and nothing is shared except with the service providers that host the site.
Process your data on-device. Where an app contacts an outside service, its page names every outside connection and whether it runs by default, and, where it has a Zero Telemetry switch, exactly what the switch turns off. Contact-form messages are end-to-end encrypted in your browser before they ever leave it.
The complete Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are published in full. Questions about data handling are answered directly: ask the desk.
